Yoga nidra is a state of consciousness between waking and sleeping. It is an excellent practice for us to access our subconscious and to plant a seed into it so we can manifest certain things in our lives. However, as a start, we need to practice for at least a few consecutive days in order to have this dialogue with our inner self. The consecutive practices enable us to develop the ability to maintain relaxed awareness of yogic sleep, rather like daily run develops muscle strengths to run longer and faster.
