CST is a gentle and non-invasive therapy, which is to trigger a self healing response by lightly placing the therapist hands on the client’s body, such as legs, back or head. The therapist utilizes hand contact to listen to the client’s body.
Yin yoga is a slow pace approach to yoga asana, allowing for mindfulness of body and breath to be fully integrated into the pose.
This session offers an introduction to Craniosacral Therapy (CST). At the beginning we will start with Yin Yoga to sharpen our body awareness. After that, we will practice with guided CST Awareness Exercise. At the end of the class, Eva will also shortly demonstrate hands on CST practice.
Eva Muchtar is a Craniosacral Therapy practitioner, intensively trained with Upledger Institute, Body Intelligence and Craniosacral Asia. She currently offers CST therapies, including a Pediasuit Learning Center for special needs children. Eva is also a facilitator of health meditation at Bali Usada and a student of Beshara School.
Siska Marsudhy is a home teacher at Kalyana. Her practice and teaching pivot around meditation and self awareness. She is trained in Classic Hatha Yoga and Yin Yoga.
