About Yogi Charu
Yogi Charu is an inducted disciple of the Saraswati lineage, one of the ten classical monk orders in India founded by Adi Sankaracharya in the 8th century. Yogi Charu is also an inducted brahmin in the Bhakti tradition in the Brahma Madhva Gaudiya Sampradaya lineage. His extensive knowledge of yogic tradition and spirituality, and a compassionate personal perspective bring depth to his teaching.
In the series will be exploring traditional yoga practices that is not yet commonly introduced in modern yoga practice.
Session Details
18 April: Yoga Nidra practice, learning the art of conscious sleep. We will also understand more about our sleep and dreams.
25 April: Prana Nidra is an integration of energy work in Yoga Nidra. Here we will learn more about the concept of Prana and
Pranayama.
02 May : Prana Vidya, exploring energy for self healing. Prana Vidya is an Antaranga (Internal) advanced yogic practice, which is
seldom practiced and taught.
