Introduction

Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM)

TCM sees our body as part of nature, and as well as nature, our body consist of different elements. Each element affecting our physical and mental constitution.
Those 5 elements are fire, earth, metal, water, and wood.

Yin Yoga

Yin yoga is a slow pace approach to yoga asana, allowing for mindfulness of body and breath to be fully integrated into the pose.

Workshop Details

We are invited to understand our physical and mental constitution based on 5 phases (elements) of TCM thru theory and asana practice

The theory delivered will covers :

  • basic TCM and the 5 elements 
  • self-assessment on our own dominant phase
  • Yin yoga asanas related to 5 elements
